Does anyone think that Speaker Ryan will call for his hounds to go after HRC now?

Not sure how that would benefit the Republicans at all. Obama can, and will probably pardon her anyway.

Glad you brought that up sd. Since HRC hasn't been charged ...... and if she were but yet to be found guilty post Obama's term ...... doesn't that negate any call for a pardon prior to Obama leaving DC?

Actually ........... near the end of Dubya's term the same question was asked -- in regards to the likes of Cheney, Rumsfeld, and others. The legal determination was that, yes, he could issue a blanket pardon for any and all crimes they are accused of committing, while in federal office.
In fact, the legal opinion even suggested that he could issue such a pardon for himself.

The former will seldom - if ever - achieve the latter.

Thanks for that reminder,cg. Now, I have to ask the next stickler question. Since there has been beaucoup accusations made towards HRC, (media etc), at what level does it make an accusation 'official' that earns a right for a pardon? To be more clear, by whom (the level) does it make an accusation 'official'?
