Can the UK royals disentangle their personal lives from their state obligations?  It's a tough call - & I don't know that Obama even knows Meghan, nor Harry for that matter.  Certainly the Trump would be offended if he didn't get an invite - he's normally offended anyway, I'm sure.  But whether the royals would pointedly not invite the Trump may be a bridge too far.

Prince Harry and Barack Obama have met several times, and appear to be friends.  Obama sat next to Harry at the Invictus Games, and interviewed Barack on a British radio show that he was guest hosting.

Should Harry and Meghan invite the Obamas?  Of course.  Should they invite Trump?  Probably not -- I don't think they've ever met him.  The last time Trump was invited to visit England, the trip fell through, when egomaniac Trump insisted on being transported in the royal coach.

This is their wedding.  While there are protocols to be observed because of the royal aspects, the guest list should, mostly, be made up of their friends.

In this world, a person can DEMAND respect ........ or COMMAND it.

The former will seldom - if ever - achieve the latter.

Harry and Obama have been talking with each other since the Invicutus Games in Canada.  Harry recently interviewed President Obama on his first job as an interviewer on radio.  So, they have a relationship.  THAT much irk Trump whose state visit has been postponed due to his dislike in Great Britain.
