He is using Trump Towers and his golf course for free advertising of his properties ,by holding meetings with potential candidates to fill his offices there. Trump Towers and his golf course so far.. This way he is promoting his business to people. So then they will stay in his hotel thinking "Oh Trump lives here" Or Trump plays golf here",He knows what he is doing, but do other people..Still the business man thinking about his business not the Presidency.Maybe this is part of why he wanted to be President..and make laws that would protect people like him. You know the republicans will pass everything he wants done.

Yep, I think Trump is nearly already bored with the office, even before taking the oath.  He's distancing himself, I think - he's not going to take the salary, he's not going to move into the White House (except for ceremonial occasions?), I expect he's going to be a figurehead - Pence will do all the boring, routine heavy lifting, Trump will chopper in & take a bow, sign some stuff, & then off again.

I think Trump is going to try to pull a Palin, & resign after two years or so - when the thrill is gone, baby.  That will be interesting.  As to the GOP - Trump has already eviscerated them - I think it's our turn (the country @ large) now.  I don't think the GOP regular party is happy with him, nor will they be.  He's a Conservative in name only - kinda like a RINO.

& watch the actual GOP run for cover when Trump can't deliver on more than a fraction of all the promises he made out on the stump.  The bright boys 'n' girls among the existing GOP should be edging for the exits now - because in 3 or 6 months, there isn't going to be any momentum to cadge a ride from - well, 32 ft. sec./sec. - but then you hit terminal velocity, & shortly thereafter, you crash into the ground.

Cleanup in aisle 2!

Trump is all about Trump. As a con and business tycoon, he's simply growing his name by being Prez. He's there to promote business..... and to help as many rich business goons as he can. His kids in 30 yrs will be extremely rich all because The Don hustled ppl most of his life and topped that act off with the biggest snatched up prize in modern history ..... the oval office in Trump Tower. Who knows, planet Earth may be become planet Trump in 50 yrs.

Ha, ha, No.  The Legislative may cave, he can wave all that alleged influence/money/momentum around for the first 30, 60, 90 days - diminishing all the way.  & then I expect he hits a cropper.  Trump is perfectly willing - eager, as far as I can tell - to provoke a Constitutional crisis because he doesn't want to give up his brand of real estate, hotels, casinos, etc. enterprise.

He hasn't appointed anyone yet to the Supreme Court - & @ the rate he's going so far, he never will.  Bad thinking, Secretary Stalin had the smarts to get into position first, & then rig the game.  Maybe Pres. Putin can offer him some pointers?

Yah, the Lege may cave, not sure about the Senate.  The Judiciary is damn touchy about what they consider to be their prerogatives (was Trump ever a lawyer?  I suspect not, I have to read up on him.)  The US military - the flag officers, @ least - think of themselves as more or less Tribunes to the Pax Americana & the Empire.  They'll have to hold the line, along with the organs.

The MSM are worse than useless, they're still fawning over the Trumpster (belatedly) & hanging on his every word & Tweet, as if anything he releases to the public meant the least verdammte thing.

Trump may not live for another 10 yrs. Altho he does seem very healthy, but his 12 - 14hr days pursuing more money and fame may catch him off guard with a heart explosion. At any rate, what I see is all of his Trumper kids making out like fat gold cats (much more than their old man) because of this over publicized folly. That's why I flirted with "planet Trump" in Earth's future ..... a name that will never go away or die off. Or ... at least U.S.T.rump.  Evil

I think I have it figured out. By reading these posts it's certain the posters dont realize that businesses create jobs that provide workers with a paycheck to support their families. It seems they are all on-board with the obama way of providing government checks and minimum wage jobs.  smitten

Legitimate businesses - ones that actually provide a service or a product - are good for the economy.  Casinos, golf courses, restaurants, the service industry - don't do much, & @ a cost.  & that's assuming that they pay on time & reliably - witness all the lawsuits that Trump Inc. has been involved in, 6 bankruptcies (loss to investors estimated @ about $1.5 billion).  Ask the Polish Brigade - non-union demolition crew that worked mostly @ night in NYC, slept in the building they were demolishing (bare floors, no heat), using sledgehammers, gypped out of their pay, forced to pay union initiation fees, dues (& then shortchanged, or paid off in cash by their foreman - & they were never union members), working without dust masks (known asbestos), no hardhats (chunks of concrete, steel flying by), without eye protection.  They complained to Wage & Hour about their pay, nothing.  They finally went to court & won - sealed case - & got paid 18 years later.

Trump Inc. claimed to know nothing, of course.

Trump knew from a previous campaign how to make big money running for president, win or lose. Campaign events were held at Trumpco properties, and the campaign was charged top dollar for it. All his travel, before the Secret Service took over, was done on Trump planes, Trump helicopters, and Trump limousines. He doesn't own any of those businesses, but he makes money on every dollar spent there. He "earns" that from his self-created "prestige."

Quirks of the Federal Election laws require separation of the campaign's money and his own, and he games the system to make it pay.

What's become most interesting to me is that Trump's choices for his administration now seem to indicate he will be much more "Republican," i. e., conventional, than I and some others had thought. The "swamp" in other words won't be "drained" but rather, replaced with other of its denizens, not liberal, not Democratic. But they've been living "in the trees," waiting these eight years, still part of the "landscape" eh.

I don't know that I might be more "alarmed" by the Usual Republican Stuff! Tax cuts for the wealthiest, trade deals for the ditto, real cuts for the poor and middle, maybe some more wartime "follies," perhaps in a new place, "bored" as we are of the mideast!

I think the real "difference" re Trump will be his penchant for "midnight tweets" and grumbling about how bad Alec Baldwin is playing him -- so much so that it wouldn't surprise me to see himself (as prez!) showing up on SNL to show them how the part ought to be played!

This "presidency" might indeed seem more a "comedy" than a "tragedy" at that!...

Tony you are so out of touch with reality. Well your fav guy that alcoholic Breitbart helped Trump along with FBI,Wiki-Leaks, Russia/Putin his big buddy..Are you brushing up on speaking Russian? LMAO. Tongue Lets not forget big money and allies fixed this election because Trump really didn't win on his own..It was Russian hacking,FBI lying,Wiki-Leaks falsehoods, and Putin..I hope you realize you most likely won't have social security or Medicare after they finish with it. The team Trump put in office which are all Repukes so he can totally dismantle everything to protect his investments, businesses, and for all his rich buddies..You aren't rich like they are, you are a average worker like most of Americans. Don't you just love how Trump told his people that voted for him that he doesn't need them anymore..Yes he used them to get what he wanted and now none of you that voted for him mean anything to him. How do you like those apples in your face Tony? Well Obama is working on this and things might be totally different. Obama is now involved in this rigged election and he has information about it. How do I know Breitbart is a alcoholic? The big red nose is a dead giveaway. I know that from working at the hospital and other sources..Like two uncles that came back from war decades ago...A man that I knew that had that same red nose..dealing with drunks coming into the ER also..All the people Trump put in office is very interesting choices, but in a bad way for all Americans with the exceptions of the ulta elites..Ok the east coast is mining areas..Trump wants clean coal and intends to inforce that..Mines will close thousands and thousands will end up losing their jobs..Then what Tony? WVa depends on coal companies because so many West Va resident men work in the coal mines.Thwy do it because they make good money..What will happen to them and their families? Boom WVa will be a ghost town state..unless the men are able to find more work.

And Trump has fueled the racist people. Like the people killed in that black church and the black man that his house was broken into and Trump written on the walls and they destroyed and stole things..this is the type of people that voted for Trump ..Racists..Tea Partiers, hate groups and real dumb racist people that hated having a black man as a President even though he saved us from what Bush left behind..all that mess. and more things as well like insurance for people that couldn't afford healthcare because of the high rates that keep on going up and up.That was a good thing President Obama did for our people..along with a lot of other things. The racist hated having a black President, but I love him and his family and I have been proud of his efforts,,repukes blocked him on things and dismantled Obama Care and took out a lot of good things..it could have been even better but no the repukes couldn't allow that to happen..I voted for Hillary Clinton and would do it all over again..News tonight shows she was way ahead of Trump, so let's see what happens..Hopefully it will get done before that fake orange haired dude with the "O" shaped lips gets in office..

Well gal I see you are as out of touch as before. First,  Breitbart is dead, has been dead for awhile unless you know that he helped from the grave.  idiot  Second, obamacare hasnt been touched as of yet. Third and probably the most shocking to you is Trump is not in office yet. Fourth, only the uninformed voted for the loser Hillary and they just cant stand the thought that a fake candidate lost. The uninformed of the democrat party gave the Republicans a win by nominating the worst possible candidate. We thank you for that.

By the way Gal are you upset that we thought of it first to hire the Russians to help defeat Hillary? That was money well spent. #wewon
