& so to fix a mosquito problem, Trump is going to burn down the house? Even for him, that's a stretch. The Chinese hold a lot of our debt - I doubt that they're going to lose any sleep over empty rhetoric - when they've had a lot of practice @ oratory themselves.
As for N. Korea, there are lots of options yet on the table. I would think that something that would hurt the Jong-un in the amour-propre would be more to the point, & much more telling than playing tit for tat with a ghost.
& this is from Russian newspapers? Which means that KGB Lt. Col. Putin wants us (the West) to read this stuff?

Yup ..... and here's more from the side of Russian news (sputnik). Some may view this as simply general rhetoric, but I'm taking this particular rise in tensions very seriously. The EU is greatly pulled into this sanctions clash with Russia. Putin is obviously perturbed. It's a huge smack to Putin's ego, since he banked heavily on Trump. Brussels is highlighted in this article with wording associated with "conflict". Oddly, nothing about China. Not to wonder too long, China will express their anger in the coming days. IMHO https://sputniknews.com/politics/201707281055956580-us-europe-sanctions-russia/ Russian President Vladimir Putin said that if adopted, the US anti-Russia sanctions bill would be an "extra-cynical move." "These [sanctions] are evident attempts to use their [i.e., the US's] geopolitical advantages in a competitive struggle with an aim to ensure [their] own economic interests at the expense of their allies," Putin said. . . the ministry said that it reserves the reciprocal right to hit US interests in response to the US sanctions bill. . . . "These sanctions will affect a wide range of European companies involved in export projects with Russia. This will result in a new tectonic break between Washington and Brussels," Grivach told Sputnik, adding that the European Commission is considering a "tough response." . . . Sergei Pravosudov, director of the National Energy Fund, also suggested that the new sanctions risk sparking confrontation between Washington and Brussels. "Previously Europe actively supported Washington’s sanctions against Russia. But the new bill presumes measures that would seriously hit Europe’s interests. This situation is developing towards a conflict. In this situation, Russia would be a bargaining chip," Pravosudov told Sputnik.

Donald Trump personally owes Chinese banks (aka the People's Republic itself) hundreds of millions of dollars. In his empty threats, DJT is speaking loudly and carrying a little stick. I wish I had written that line myself, but it was a foreign diplomat.
