"The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in the General Assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation," Haley declared in a speech at U.N. headquarters in New York. "When a nation is singled out for attack in this organization that nation is disrespected. What's more, that nation is asked to pay for the privilege of being disrespected. In the case of the U.S. we are asked to pay more than anyone else for that dubious privilege." Just when I think the Trump administration cannot make me feel any more embarrassed about my nation than the last statement, a new one comes up. "Do what I say or I'll take my ball and go home" is what a reality talk show guy says; NOT a UN Ambassador NOR a President. I can see China and russia stepping up offers to help these nations which is why Putin is steering Trump to drop everyone. Isolate us, invade us and you own us...and our stupid little rich people, too. Your thoughts on this statement?

Yep, I assume that Trump is that much of a standard conservative GOP operative. He detests expertise - political, military, scientific, technical, biological, astronomical, fiscal, economic, you name it - his preference would be to have a cabinet entirely made up of cabbages. & then every time some cropper was discovered during his watch, he could easily scream Off with his head!, put in yet another of the never-ending stream of cabbages, & carry on doing whatever it was he was doing that caused the original problem.
This, apparently, is Trump's notion of greening an administration.

In this world, a person can DEMAND respect ........ or COMMAND it.
The former will seldom - if ever - achieve the latter.
